Development of applications takes center stage in “My Web x Cuba”

Participants reflected on the protagonism of students to promote the development of web applications during the event My Web x Cuba this Tuesday, in School Building 2, at the University of Informatics Sciences.
The program was carried out in five commissions which discussed virtual reality, Android operating system, optical physics application, Linux, Cuba immersed in technologies, and the experiences of seminars and workshops of the subject Social Problems of Science and The Technology (PSCT) through websites.
Reinier Blanco Crespo, Vice-President of Research and Production of the students’ organization at UCI, stated that this space is very important because a student can apply the knowledge gained through the career and materialize it by presenting to a board an application that contributes to reduce expenses to the country.
This event, which was framed within the activities of the 1st Scientific Conference of the Computer Science Engineer, promoted the development of scientific research in obtaining solutions in accordance with the research lines of our higher education center.
