Representatives of the group of young researchers from the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) met this Friday at the José Martí School Building with the purpose of presenting their papers in the 1st Scientific Conference of the Engineer in Computer Science organized by the University Student Federation of this house of high studies.

The conclave welcomed the participants in the thirteen commissions, who conferred about civil defense in Cuba, history of algebra, processing of queries for the Cuban search engine Orion, as well as the proposal of a Cuban website for the International Programming Contest.

Cuba immersed in technologies, Web positioning, Fidel within the arts and Vision of Marti´s thoughts on mathematics to encourage the motivation to learn this subject, were among the research works presented in this scientific event.

The space allowed the participants to socialize on their research projects, that enhance the development of this higher education center
