The 1st Scientific Conference of the Engineer in Computer Science, an event that arises from the fusion of the Scientific Student Day (JCE) and the Day of the Engineer in Computer Science (JICI), is dedicated on this occasion to the 95th anniversary of the Students’ Organization (FEU), the 15th Anniversary of the foundation of UCI and the 55th Anniversary of the Young Communist League (UJC)

The third day of activities was enriched by the knowledge that our students have about software engineering, which became palpable in the Cup Competition on this subject. The contest had the presentation of 13 works in the two commissions that were organized to evaluate them.

Out of the research topics discussed, some stand out like: software architectures for developing video games on various platforms, a model for evaluating the ethical level of organizations, work teams building tools, some criteria for verifying and validating mechanisms for the development of Video games, a system for the management of elected version 2.0, a web system for the management of tangible fixed assets, a system for the management and planning of the students and workers’ guard duty, and the Cuban electoral system among others.

Other activities that take place today include the competitions: Who knows more about Software Engineering?, Sudoku and An Encounter with Clio, which will be held in the evening.
