Ph.D. Miriam Nicado García, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party, the Council of State and Rector of our high school house led the reception of 228 new workers from the University of Informatics Sciences (known as UCI), recently graduated in training that, along with other professionals from different universities in the country, will perform social service in this center.

In addition to the Rector, Ing. Mailín Ochoa Calzadilla, Director of Development of Human Resources and Ph.D. Raydel Montesino Pururena, deputy rector of the school, headed the presidency.
In her speech, Ph.D. Nicado García offered an overview of the new structure of the institute. She said that we must continue to improve production systems, because we need more efficiency, given the vital projects associated with the development of the country and others abroad.
The Rector announced that the UCI was incorporated into the Group of Exports of Information and Communication Technologies, which engages the entire community, which will have an optimization of human resources and their functions, as well as their infrastructure. As part of the new projection, it will open other careers, including Bioinformatics.
She added that there are commitments of software production that we have to undertake with strategic alliances with the ministries of Industry, Energy, and Mines, among others. It is essential to continue progressing fully to give a confidence that allows our offers are requested. This requires more efficiency in production systems, She said.
Also in the restructuring of the University is the merger of schools 4 and 5, the appointment of new positions and a deputy rector of the institution.
To conclude, Ph.D. Miriam Nicado, pointed out that 73% of the workforce is composed of young people and it takes a lot of discipline to undertake the new tasks, at the level of a worker in this center, which they must now do as workers are important and we must undertake plans with ethics.
