A more than justified meeting, due to the analysis that raises the importance of the production and research in the University, its incidence in obtaining graduates of quality and for the opportunity to show good practices, took place this Thursday in the Theater of the Teaching building 3.
The Production Asset FEU-UCI 2016, which was chaired by the Vice-Rector of Training, Natalia Martínez Sánchez, her Production counterpart, Reynaldo Rosado Roselló and Arlenis González Rodríguez, president of the FEU in the institution; Put on the topic of the discipline of professional practice and its edges.
There were few who acknowledged that motivation remains the Achilles heel of the student's link to production. However, the valid experiences that are presented show diverse solutions and variants, especially, possible, that bring the best students to the centers of productive development.
In that sense, those who spoke made clear the need for integration with the faculty, as well as the responsibility, demand and dedication involved in this effort to motivate the best students to productive projects, an aspect that is summarized in work.
The Vice-Rector of Training , in the conclusions of the meeting, expressed her satisfaction with the practices carried out in faculties and centers, the remaining dissatisfactions and proposed to Vice-deans, student leaders and heads of centers, among others present in the Asset, to make a Scientific workshop at the end of the second semester in which each development center, along with the faculty, expose the experiences with the number of students linked to the production.
