The University of Informatics Sciences has better professionals at the Institution.
A ceremony of delivery of titles of the main teaching categories, masters and doctorates to a group of professors who successfully completed their studies in these slopes of the continuous formation, took place in the late evening of this Thursday at the Hall of Protocol in Laguito.
The activity was chaired by Ph.D. Miriam Nicado García, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, of the Council of State and Rector of the University of Informatics Sciences. There were also present the University Council, the representatives of the political and mass organizations, and the coordinators of the mastery programs.
In the hands of vice-rectors of the University they received their Master's degree in Sciences, in the Master program of Management of Computer Projects: Ailyn Estrada Velazco, Mailen Edith Escobar Pompa, Carlos Rafael Rodriguez Rodríguez and Nadia Porro Lugo; In the Mastery of Applied Computer Science: Lídisy Hernández Montero, José Felipe Ramírez Pérez, Arturo Orellana García, Yoandy Pérez Villazón and Maikel Pérez Javier; And in the Masters of Distance Education: José Germán Sánchez González.
In this act also received the title of Associate and full professors several educators who with their permanent study managed to obtain these higher teaching categories. As Associate Professors were recognized: Silvano Merced Len, Noralbis de Armas Rodríguez, Julián Sarria González, Julio César Díaz Vera and Yanio Hernández Heredia.
As a sign of their scientific maturity, ability to face and solve scientific problems and a deep theoretical and practical mastery in their field of knowledge received the title of Doctor of Science from the Rector, Surayne Torres López and Nemury Silega Martínez.
Also Osay González Fuentes, director of the Center for Identification and Digital Security, was recognized for having achieved relevant results in his preparation as a leader in the Provincial Defense Preparatory School Commander Ángel Ameijeiras Delgado.
Finally, Ph.D. Miriam Nicado congratulated all of them and urged them to continue studying and emerging as professionals of Cuban higher education.
