The first phase of the fifteenth edition of the Festival of Amateur Artists of the University Student Federation (known as FEU) at the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) will be held on march 29th and 30th 2017, and the second stage will start on next April 5th.
In the inaugural selection, there are representations of all faculties, in the manifestations of plastic arts, literature (with 27 works in the Library), concert music (12 works), radio and audiovisual.
The Festival of Amateur Artists of the FEU is made under the name of PAU (Project of University Art) and extends until late at night.
In plastic arts more than 300 works are presented: happenings, installations, performance, crafts, digital art, among others, with a strong presence of photography and the poster - unlike previous years - exhibited in faculties, Gallery and other spaces of the Cultural Center Wifredo Lam, the Salon Me Dicen Cuba, and alternative areas of the university outdoors.
The jury of plastic arts is composed by the artists and instructors of Casas de Cultura, Gerardo Liranza Durán, Plaza de la Revolución; And Punta Brava, Lisandro Hechevarría Lazo and Sissi Uria Domínguez.
