School 4 gives back to society 80 youngsters turned into better people
With the Concept of Revolution in the voice of the founder and guide of the University of Informatics Sciences and the symbolic roll call of FEU martyrs, there began the graduation ceremony of School 4, the first graduation of the Caymans (Grundys + Octavitos).
During the graduation ceremony, dedicated to the 95th Anniversary of FEU, the 15th Anniversary of UCI and also dedicated to Fidel, the most outstanding graduates in the different spheres or their university life were awarded with diplomas.
Reiman Alfonso Azcuy was the best graduate of the school with an academic performance above 4.75 points. He received the Gold Award for his relevant career in research, teaching and software production; furthermore, he won the Scientific Merit Award and was chosen as a candidate of the Mella Award.
On behalf of the new engineers, the most outstanding graduate, José Manuel Lamis Rivero, thanked professors, families, students, the school and UCI for returning them to society as better people.
Proclaiming it in a loud voice Lamis Rivero, referred to the gratification for "the Revolution and Fidel’s dream, materialized in the University, to educate ourselves with the necessary values to develop as true professionals and to continue with the process of computerization of society in every corner of this country.”
On behalf of the School Dean, Dr. Sc. Dunia María Colomé, another congratulatory message was delivered to the graduates.
The Dean, a graduate of this house of higher studies as well, encouraged the graduates never to forget that they are part of Fidel's Tropa del Futuro (Troop of the Future) and to keep present the commitment they assume with the Revolution at this stage in which their service to the mother country begins.
