The University of Informatics Sciences in Pedagogy 2017.
From January 30th to February 3rd takes place , the 2017 Pedagoical Congress, dedicated to the contribution of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro in the educational work of the Cuban Revolution, to the 50th anniversary of the fall in combat of Ernesto Che Guevara and the 55 years of the Literacy Campaign.
In the exchange and socialization of scientific results in order to join efforts to achieve quality education for all, about 40 countries participate and among the 1,945 papers presented at the various symposia and forums, there are three papers from the University of Informatics Sciences (known as UCI).
In addition, the UCI is present in Pedagogy 2017 with a stand that has been well received, where it is said what we do for the pedagogic sciences in the different centers of the institution, including master's degrees from the University and the Doctorate in Computer Science. The academic services of the Center for Innovation and Quality of Education (CICE) are presented, such as consultancy and training.
The model of distance education is also presented by the Center for Distance Education (CEN); By the Center for Technologies for Training (Fortes) those interested in knowing about the services of the Zera platform for undergraduate training. For its part, the Language Center (Cenid) disseminates its strategies for learning other languages.
According to its exhibitors, the UCI stand has achieved numerous exchanges. The authors are in charge of the disclosure. Among the invited personalities are the Brazilian theologian Frei Betto, the Nobel Peace Prize 2014 Kailash Satyarthi, the official in charge of the Unesco office in Havana Katherine Muller-Marin, as well as a score of ministers of Education from different nationalities .
