The previous fragment is part of the letter of congratulation delivered to the young people of new entrance to the UJC next to the card that accredits them, in the central act for the 55th Anniversary of the organization that was made this morning in Mella Square, with the Presence of Ph.D. Raydel Montesino Perurena, Deputy Rector of the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) and a community representation.
The event was also attended by special guests Ronier Iglesias, Arlen López and Julio César la Cruz, outstanding athletes and Olympic champions of the national boxing team, who, together with Montesino Perurena, have championed the 33 competitors and seven coaches who will represent the UCI In the XIII National Sports Universiade.
The celebration also gave the "Young 55th Anniversary" Condition and the Cuban Communist Party's membership card to new incomes.
Leonardo Rodríguez González, general secretary of the UJC Committee at the University, gave the central words for the 55th anniversary of the UJC, an organization that has and will have the responsibility of contributing to the formation of the new generations of young Cubans, with the thought and example of undefeated Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
"We have lived moments of transcendental importance from the ideological point of view ... where the fidelity of the Cuban people has been put to the test and our commitment to continue with this beautiful project called Revolution.
"In the year of the 95th anniversary of the University Student Federation and the 15th of our high school, a genuine idea of our Fidel, the action of the young communists of this University must be characterized by being up to the legacy of our creator, of our caguairán, who always dedicated his best thought to the youth ".
The cultural moment was in charge of the group of amateur artists of the University, Expression sonera.
