In the present week, some of the official pre-doctoral defenses  for the seven aspirants to obtain  the scientific degree of Doctor in Computer Science in the current year, are taking place  in the rooms  of the Rectorate of the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) in which there  are professionals of the own center, as well as of institutions of other provinces and foreigners.

 This Wednesday morning , April 12th, 2017, Ivelisse Machín Torres, professor at the José Martí Pérez University of Sancti Spíritus, presented the thesis "Model to improve assimilation of centering and problem solving In Object Oriented Programming in computer proficiency races ".

Machín Torres has the tutoring of Vivian Estrada Sentí and Ailyn Febles Estrada; Had as presiding judge Raydel Montesino Perurena, Deputy rector  of the UCI, and as opponents Adolfo Diaz Sardines and Rogelio Lau Fernandez, all doctors in science, who pointed out the successes and failures of the investigation, with a view to their correction before its final presentation.

At the end of her presentation, the aspiring doctorate in computer science told us that the UCI is a prestigious institution and that is why, when the call for the doctoral program was made, she presented herself and felt very motivated when she was selected because "she added - it is a desire of each professional to have the opportunity to receive in this center of high studies any postgraduate course.

When asked about her opinion on the doctoral program of the UCI, she said that it is really excellent and she offered her arguments: "we received all the attention, especially the candidates outside the institution, by the team belonging to this program, which is Maximum level. "

And she reiterated: "We have always been given the necessary support, both by the tutors and the rest of the staff, which is excellent."
