This October 6, the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) expressed once again that the pain remains as well as the repulsion to the sabotage.

This was confirmed by those representing the university community during the conversation about the events in Barbados in 1976, where a Cubana de Aviación plane was shot down with 73 people on board.

The testimonies given by the victims' relatives, shown in a 50-minute audiovisual, constituted a preamble of  the exchange promoted by the Marxism-Leninism Department at  UCI, and conducted by José Luis Méndez Méndez, a researcher at the Center for Historical Investigations of State Security in Cuba.

The mourning for the victims of state terrorism against the Cuban people, in the words of one of the university students, is still present in our hearts, as if we were suffering the pain of every child who lost a parent, and not being able to recover from it. Conformarnos endure bear it.
