The Rector highlighted the essential need to incorporate all computer tools into the ideological and political struggle, without holding back the face to face interaction on a daily basis.
We have a huge challenge to face, said Nicado, because we are in a university with talent, thought, innovation, where every day a new idea, project or research arises.
"And in a university of this nature where technology keeps changing so fast, the tools we are going to use for the political work need to keep up with these rapid changes as well", she said.
Likewise, the panel developed in the meeting room of School Building 4 turned into a tribute to the figure of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
During the panel discussion, the full professor and founder of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER), Mr. Arnaldo Rivero Fuxá, said that Fidel infused the people with a true sports culture, and he referred to some significant moments in the life of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, also recognized as a sportsman.
