"Where the body moves and the soul is excited", a better slogan could not choose for its festival the amateur artists of the Faculty of Sciences and Computational Technologies (Citec) of our University, who showed an idyllic spectacle where the dance was the protagonist.
The Gladiators offered to the Wifredo Lam audience a show that combined diverse dance styles to the rhythm of the Cuban purest flavor.
Through a time line that began in the 60s, those attending the cultural plaza of the University of Infromatics Sciences (UCI) traveled through genres and repertoires perhaps forgotten by many, but remembered with pleasure.
With a thread that did not lose its center and moved between brushstrokes of humor, theater and audiovisual, the gala stood out presentations as the Lightning Crew, MarioKarl, the duo Dos, and the performance of the dancers of Tenth Generation pleased the university public.
It is also worth mentioning the spectacle, the excellent scenery, the conduction by Amanda Tejera, Susana Aguiar and Asiel Riverón, as well as the musical performances.
At the end of the festival , Citec reached 30 gold, 11 silver, 6 bronze, 2 mentions and 4 special prizes in theater at the 15th edition of the FEU Amateur Artists Festival at the UCI.
