After agreeing on the alliance, the UIC President referred to the great honor that this first collaboration agreement signed with UCI represents for the organization, as Fidel's ideals materialize on the education of professionals, the development of the country, innovation and science.
It is a strategic alliance, Febles Estrada said, with the aspiration to achieve a digital transformation in Cuba that guarantees the Cuban citizen as the center of the greatest benefits and helps maintain the socialist revolution.
During this historic moment for the country, as the Rector of UCI stated, where the nation is experiencing a technological revolution and the computerization policy has just been adopted, "the country needs all the professionals and specialists of ICT to come together, be wherever they are ".
Nicado García pointed out at the same time the responsibility, not only professional but also political, which involves the defense of Cuba in the cyberspace by the professionals of the Cuban informatics field.
