As part of the activities organized with the students of the first year to develop ideological political work, the formation of values and the educational strategy of the Introductory school of Informatics Sciences (known as FICI) , this morning of February 28th was visited to monumental complex Antonio Maceo, located in San Pedro.
This historical site, considered National Monument, marks the place where Maceo and his assistant Panchito Gómez Toro fell after the battle with Spanish troops, that lasted for several hours, that 7 of December in 1896.
At this place, the group of students visited several areas including the History Room, where they knew different aspects related to the facts that in this place happened and that are part of the history of Cuba.
