Dancers from four schools participated in the Ruedas de Casino Festival, held at the Niemeyer Square in the context of the elections of the University Student Federation (FEU) at the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI).
In the prelude to the dance contest, the electoral commission announced that the secretariat of this center of higher education will be headed in the new period by the student Eliani Cabrera García.
The audience who met on this stage cheered the Ruedas de Casino of Schools 1 and 4, who won the grand prize and popularity award respectively. Likewise, the couples of the School of Sciences and Computational Technologies (Citec) and School 2 dominated the section of duets.
This event, devoted to the 15th anniversary of our institution and the 95th anniversary of the student organization, constituted a form of recreation for young people and an opportunity for them to demonstrate their dancing skills.
The FEU secretariat at the University will be led by the student Eliani Cabrera García.
The representatives of School 1 were the winners of the night as they obtained the grand prize of the Rueda de Casino Festival.
The representatives of School 4 obtained the popularity award.
