Productive Infrastructure
Assigned to different administrative structures, there are 15 centers that carry out the I+D+I activities, in charge of computer applications, technological development and associated research.
Together, they form a collaborative work network that operates under common rules and procedures, making possible the reuse of components and industrial efficiency.
They have a productive force made up of more than a thousand specialists deployed in more than 95 laboratories, to which the students are linked as part of the model of training - production - research put into practice in the University.
The software development centers carry out more than 200 projects a year, with great impact on the computerization of the Cuban society, in areas such as citizen security, public administration, industry, education, business management, health and biotechnology, among others.
