The Caribbean ACM-ICPC training camp opens
The IX edition of the Caribbean ACM-ICPC Training Camp started this Monday at the headquarters of the Competitive Programming Movement Tomás López Jiménez, organized by this higher education center.
The contest where the eleven teams representing the nations of Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Cuba met, was held during the inaugural day of the gathering
As part of the strategies used to encourage the development of skills and knowledge in programming, the organizing committee of the event inserted several novelties, among them the participation of a Cuban Information Technology pre-selection team, and considering the participation in the event as a postgraduate course.
Conferences, competitions and analysis of solutions will characterize these two training weeks in which the participants will exchange experiences not only in terms of programming, but also in other activities that confer an attractive image to the intense preparation days
