It develops important projects with significant economic and social impact to which students are linked during their professional training, through the Center of Technologies for Training, the Center of Industrial Informatics, and the Center of 3D Interactive Environments.
It contributes to the research- development work with a decisive role of the students, achieving a high efficiency of them during their training work in the Center of Geoinformatics and Digital Signals, the Center of Data Management Technologies, and the Center of Studies of Computational Mathematics.
It guarantees services to the university with efficiency and stability, offering quality of life to students, resident workers and other members of the university community.
The communication directorate is responsible for the development of the internal and external communication processes that guarantee the strengthening of our identity, in order to provide coverage on the University work and activities, therefore ensuring the building of a good institutional image for the different audiences.
It provides technical support to the management structures of the University for the development of its competences in terms of enrollment and Academic Secretariat. In addition, it organizes the Entry/Exit Process to the different educational learning modalities
Communist and antimperialist organization identified with Marti's ideas, that groups the vanguard of the Cuban Revolution. It is the leading force of the society and the state in our country that guides the common efforts towards the construction of socialism.
It contributes to the political education of the new generations as active builders of socialism. In addition, it promotes the creative, conscious and enthusiastic participation of young people in the economic and social development of the country.

With issue 4 of volume 10, we celebrate 10 years of hard and continuous work, with the aim of bringing to you the results of the scientific work of researchers, who through our Cuban Journal of Computer Science and the publishing house "Ediciones Futuro" socialize its work. We are indexed in important databases, such as Scielo, ScieLo Citation Index and Redalyc, which positions us in the second level, according to the Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba.
