The British Council * in Cuba held the English Language Teaching-Learning Conference on March 3rd and 4th at Panorama hotel in Havana.
Professors from different universities participated in the exchange, including the University of Informatics Sciences (known as UCI) with a representation of specialists from the Language Center and the different schools.
The main objective of the conference was to encourage the exchange of experiences and the preparation of Cuban professors, sharing techniques and strategies that enhance the educator's own abilities.
Interactive workshops and scientific and methodological conferences were also given, which ended with the certification of participants.
Also present were the ambassador of the British Government in Cuba, as well as directors of the Ministry of Higher Education (MES) and experts of the language teaching in the country.
