Semantic Web Research Group

The Semantic Web is not intended to replace the current web, but rather an extension in which information has a well-defined meaning, enabling humans and computers to work cooperatively. In recent years, the World Wide Web Consortium has been working on defining a set of standards and technologies that support the development of the semantic web.

The Semantic Web Research Group aims to produce basic and applied research related to semantic web technologies, incorporating added value to their studies and contributing to the socio-economic progress of the country.
